2. Overview
This website has been deliberately designed to be minimalist: it uses no cookies, usedno analytics or tracking services and binds no third-party contentinto your browser. Fonts and images are delivered from our own server. We only process personal data if you provide it to us via the enquiry form, by email or by telephone — and to the extent technically necessary for every visit to a website (Section 3).
3. Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted on servers belonging to Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. When you access a page, the server automatically processes data transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time, page accessed, volume of data transferred, browser type and operating system, and the previously visited page (referrer). This data is used to deliver the page, ensure security and analyse errors; it is not combined with other data and is deleted regularly. To protect against mass mailings, the server also temporarily limits the number of requests per sender in its working memory. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, stable operation).
mkul – Webdesign, Zwickau, is responsible for the technical operation of the website (development, hosting, maintenance); data processing is carried out on our behalf in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR. The connection to this website is TLS-encrypted throughout (https).
4. Enquiry form
You can use the enquiry form to request a machine, transport or a hire. We will collect the details you enter: your enquiry and the machine required, your name, telephone number (compulsory, for us to call you back), optional email address, company name, town or postcode (for delivery or transport, to calculate the costs), customer type, preferred contact method and your message.
The enquiry is stored on our server and is also sent to us by email. We use the data solely to process your enquiry and for any subsequent follow-up queries. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR for responding to general enquiries. The data will remain stored until your enquiry has been fully processed; beyond that, only to the extent required by statutory retention obligations (e.g. upon conclusion of a contract).
We use the Resend email service (Resend, Inc., San Francisco, USA) to send the enquiry email. The contents of the enquiry are forwarded to our business email address. The transfer to the USA is safeguarded by the EU Commission’s standard contractual clauses (Article 46(2)(c) of the GDPR).
5. Contact by email or telephone
If you contact us by email or telephone, we will process your details in order to deal with your enquiry (Article 6(1)(b) or (f) of the GDPR). The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose and there are no retention obligations preventing this.
6. Customer reviews
On the homepage, we display public reviews from our Google Business Profile. Our server retrieves this content directly from Google at regular intervals and displays it as part of the page. When you visit our website, this means that No connection from your browser to Google is set up, and no data about you is sent to Google.
7. Links to other websites
Our pages contain links to third-party websites, such as manufacturers’ websites, product leaflets and our advert listings on kleinanzeigen.de. The respective provider is responsible for data processing on these sites; their privacy policies apply.
8. Your rights
You have the right to request from us information about your stored personal data (Art. 15 GDPR), to have it rectified (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You may object at any time to processing carried out on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (Article 21 of the GDPR). To do so, please contact us informally using the contact details provided in section 1.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Article 77 of the GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Saxon Data Protection and Transparency Commissioner, Devrientstraße 5, 01067 Dresden,www.datenschutz.sachsen.de.
9. Amendments
We will update this privacy policy if there are changes to the website’s technology or the legal situation. The version published here is the one that applies at any given time.
